NVIDIA Inception
NVIDIA's accelerator program for AI and deep-tech startups
About this program
NVIDIA Inception is the default program for AI and deep-tech startups that use GPUs anywhere in the stack. What makes Inception different from a typical credits program is the breadth: cloud GPU credits, discounts on NVIDIA hardware (DGX and workstation-class GPUs), access to NVIDIA's enterprise frameworks, technical training through NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute, and co-marketing opportunities.
Membership is tiered, and tier is assigned by the Inception team based on company stage and how central AI is to the product. Early-stage teams typically start at an entry-level tier with self-serve benefits, while more mature AI-native companies can reach higher tiers that include closer partnership on go-to-market and, in some cases, investor introductions. Application is direct through NVIDIA's program portal, and Inception does not take equity.

Frequently asked questions
Is NVIDIA Inception limited to AI startups?
Inception's focus is startups that use GPU acceleration, which in practice means AI, machine learning, data science, robotics, and related deep-tech fields. General-purpose SaaS companies are usually a poor fit.
Do I have to buy NVIDIA hardware to join?
No. Most members use cloud GPUs through NVIDIA's partner providers. Hardware discounts are available to teams that do buy DGX, workstation GPUs, or similar products.
Is the program free to join?
Yes. There is no membership fee. Benefits scale with tier, and tier is assigned based on company stage and AI focus.
Does Inception compete with accelerators like Y Combinator?
No. Inception is not a cohort-based accelerator. It is a benefits program that runs continuously and does not take equity. Many Inception members are also in accelerators or have raised venture funding.
